Circulation Problems and Possible Solutions

Circulation is impaired in thyroid dysfunction due to the narrowing of blood vessels walls that occurs. There may also be a deficiency of Vitamin E, which would also constrict blood vessel walls, restricting circulation.

Cholesterol is blamed for many dysfunctions, including narrowing of blood vessels. Cholesterol is, however, a necessary biologically for synthesizing hormones and Vitamin D. It is now believed that the great culprit in homocysteine, a breakdown product of the amino acid methionine, which is present in large quantities in animal products and is credited with causing arteriosclerosis.

Our Clinically Developed Solution:

1- Zinc, B6, folic acid, B-12 (and probably various trace elements) are required to revert homocysteine back to methionine. These elements are present in Chlorella and Green barley grass powder.

2- The Thyroid & Hormone Regeneration Program is recommended to help your body restore thyroid function, obtain hormone balance, and open the circulation. Additional Vitamin E may also be helpful.

3- We have a special circulation herbal mouth spray. It is a herbal formula that improves circulation by dilating the arteries. It is called CirculoSpray. CirculoSpray warms the body, improves circulation, delivers more nutrients to the muscles, nerves and organs. CirculoSpray and the other products mentioned on this page can be order online . (this product is temporarily unavailable)

4- Exercise. Any form of exercise increases circulation. Walking, yoga, tai chi, swimming, sports - are all strongly encouraged.

5- Herbs such as Ginger and Cayenne are excellent at simulating the circulatory system. These can be taken as tinctures or in capsules. It is best to take Cayenne in water so that you actually taste it. Ginger can be bought fresh and made into a tea by boiling an inch or more of the root in water. It should be finely chopped to obtain maximum flavour.

MARCH 2004 - Please note that CirculoSpray is not presently available. I would like to recommend that you use Ginger and Cayanne as two excellent circulation stimulants.
